A Fast For Peace

The evening was truly magnificent. It exceeded all expectations. Simply sitting next to one another, with smiles on our lips and in our hearts gave us the feeling that there is potential to change the way we see, hear and ultimately deal with one another.
Even though it’s still summer, it’s never too early to make plans for the High Holidays! Whether you are a member of the synagogue or a member of the community, we hope you will join us for our Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services.
Join us for a Community Oneg- a light reception- following lively Kabbalat Shabbat services at 6pm. It’s a joyful way to start Shabbat. Reinvigorate, recharge and re-acquaint yourself with old and new T&V friends.
Before you slather on the SPF 45 and head down to Coney Island, please take a moment to complete your Membership Renewal form and send in your dues today. Todah Rabah for your continued commitment to this amazing kehilla!

Yashar Koach to Cantor Postman and our friends in the Local Faith Communities for a beautiful Spiritual Sounds evening of recitation and music. We were delighted to host the event and look forward to many more occasions to celebrate together.
Playtime for children ages 0-3 and their parents & caregivers will return in the fall on Tuesdays and Fridays 11am-1pm. See you then!

T&V members Ben Wagenberg and Helene Richter wished to celebrate their son Max’s Bar Mitzvah, a Jewish rite of passage. The only difference for their family is that Max is autistic. They created this video to share Max’s experience.
