NEW! Junior Congregation

Birds Window

We’re delighted to invite you to our dynamic, new Jr. Congregation program!

The new program will meet each Shabbat starting at 11AM in the Chapel and provide children in Kitah Aleph thru Vav (1st -6th grades) with activities that vary by each week of the month. The new 4-part program offers a nurturing and stimulating environment in which children can build the skills needed to participate in- and lead – Shabbat morning services.

1. Parasha Exploration with Nicole Levin

Using drama games and interactive actives, students will explore the weekly parasha. Students will also learn the blessings and tefillot (prayers) surrounding the Torah Service and participate in a short Shabbat Morning Service.

Parasha service will meet the 1st Saturday of each month:

September 3, October 1, November 5, December 3, February 4, March 4, April 1, and May 6.

2. Tefillah Club with Leslie Azose

SDuring Tefillah Club, children will lead parts of the service and explore the Torah portion together. This is a special time for kids to be together, to celebrate Shabbat and practice the tefillot.

Tefillah Club service will meet the 2nd Saturday of each month:

September 10, October 15, November 12, December 10, February 11, March 11, and May 13.
