T&V Teens


Teens from across the city come together through their interest in community service, Jewish values, and exploring what it means to be Jewish in the 21st century. There are a variety of activities and programs designed by our teens and implemented with help from our Teen Engagement Coordinator.

Teens' Meal

The Rabbis’ Dinner Table

Join Rabbis Sebert and Mullin for a series of monthly dinners where students are pushed to think critically about the world in which they live, through a Jewish lens. Classes are held the second Thursday of the month from 5:30-7:00PM.

Monthly Shelter Work

Join T&V for its 16th year in this incredible program. Each month, teens visit a Domestic Women’s Shelter for meaningful hands-on community service projects. Visits are scheduled on the last Tuesday of each month and include chaperoned trips to and from the shelter as well as a light dinner. Students will leave T&V by 5:15PM.

Become a Teaching Assistant

Teens serve as teaching assistants for Hebrew School during the school year. This hands-on experience working with kids in an educational setting and serving as role models to students in our community. Community service hours are awarded for participating or, you can elect to be paid.

Youth Groups

USY is the international youth organization for Jewish teens, sponsored by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Our USY Youth Group gives high schools students opportunities to spend time with other Jewish teens, while learning, praying, and giving back.

Events include Shabbat dinners, Chinese food & a movie, volunteer opportunities, Krav Maga, ice skating, bowling, rafting, and more! Stay tuned for events throughout the year. For more information, please contact teens@tandv.org
