Kesher: A Shabbat Connection for Kids and Families

Join us for this innovative new Shabbat program FREE of charge.

In Hebrew, kesher means connection. In this program, kids and families learn about Shabbat and Judaism and will form connections while living and learning about Judaism.

There are two parts to Kesher:

  • Kesher Kids – A twice a month drop-in / drop-off  educational program that prepares students to celebrate Shabbat and holidays in meaningful and creative ways. The program is free of charge and open to the whole community, inside and outside T&V.
    • We will divide the class into two groups: K-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade.
    • 6th Graders will serve as helpers for the younger group if they wish, or they are welcome to join the older group.
  • Kesher Family – A twice a month family service, that will incorporate ideas learned in Kesher Kids, and will engage students and their families in a meaningful prayer experience.
